How To Mod Smash 4 5.5.2
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯As you see above, if you search my name on Google you can go to my profile on your computer and get to all the links that way.Alright, so first off we obviously wanna get the mod itself. A good starter mod would be Nairo's Modpack since it's just looks and music and is wifi safe. Go to and go down to the description. You should see a bunch of links, just click on the one that corresponds to your region and download the mod. (Download the US version even if you live somewhere else in the Americas)After the mod is done downloading you're gonna wanna get. It's a tool that we'll need to extract the mods.⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯When WinRAR is done downloading, move the mod's file over to your home screen and then right click it. There are two options here, extracting it or opening it and moving it over to your SD card.
If you wanna get more mods later I'd recommend extracting it so that you don't have to go through the extraction process all over again when you move it over to your SD card.Oh, this reminds me of something important.DON'T COMBINE MODSOk cool we can continue now.By the way, don't buy WinRAR. Now that we've done all of that we're gonna go to the second phase of the computer part, so don't think it's over yet!⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯Go into your SD card and make two folders titled 'wiiu' and 'sdcafiine'. Spelling is very important because otherwise it won't work. Go into the wiiu folder you just made and make a folder titled 'apps'.Now, we're gonna leave that as it is for now to download two things we're gonna need.
And.They are small files so they should download quickly.Once they've been downloaded move both files into your SD card and drag them over to the 'apps' folder you made. After that open both files and move the files inside them to your SD card. (DO NOT EXTRACT NORMALLY)Delete the old files afterwards and it should look like this.⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯We're done with that folder. Now we're moving on to the sdcafiine folder!
Go inside it and make another folder titled after your region's number.Here are the numbers:US: 144F00EU: 145000After that make yet another folder inside that one and name it whatever you like. I named mine 'modpack'.
Then you wanna make yet another one inside the one you just made but this time it HAS to be titled 'content'.This is the last step on the computer. Just move, in this case, the numbered folder of your mod to your SD card and go inside it.
Now highlight everything inside and cut it. Paste it inside the 'content' folder.It should look like this when you're done.⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯.

It's been a few weeks, and I haven't heard anything new, no developments, nothing. So, maybe I'm missing something. I'm wondering if anyone has any news about the future of Sm4sh modding, and such? If not, do you think there will be any other way to load mods, aside from the ones mentioned?
